  1. Domino's is really doing some amazing database, and eCommerce marketing. I happened to meet Rob Weisberg, their VP of multimedia marketing, at a Customer Engagement Summit conference this past year. I was shocked and amazed, along with the entire audience they presented to, at how they have re-positioned themselves as a serious direct and web marketer. They are one of the country's largest direct mailers now, sending out about 8,000 versioned targeted mailings to over 70 million households. Furthermore, they are now the second-largest e-commerce site in terms of transactions to Amazon. Who knew?

    I'm not a big Domino's customer at all, but from a marketing perspective, they had been flying under everyone's radar. If you would like a copy of the presentation Rob made, let me know and I can send it to you.
