Room #829
Room #829. The first
place I lived when I moved to Chicago in 1991 to start my career, when I didn't
know a soul, didn't have a job, or a place to live, until I found this great
dorm room for $16/night at Northwestern's graduate school housing with a view
of Lake Michigan. The students were gone for the summer. Just a few stragglers, a couple families and perhaps some other hopeful people just starting out. Life wasn't that bad
starting out. This article below brought back some memories...
